Start of operations under the new CORDIS contracts from 2 February 2004

The five contracts resulting from the open call for tenders published at the end of 2002/begining 2003 were signed at the beginning of 2004.

From 2 February 2004, the operations foreseen in these contracts began for an initial period of 24 months. A renewal of these contracts, for a second 24 months operational period, is possible at the Commission's discretion.

The mandate of CORDIS is to disseminate information on research, technology development and innovation. CORDIS is an action of the FP6 programme 'Structuring the European Research Area'.
