Benchmarking of public biotechnology policy - contract notice

Description/object of the contract: The aim of the contract is to provide European policy makers with a set of tools that will assist them in their policy-making regarding biotechnology in line with the communication 'Life sciences and biotechnology - A strategy for Europe' COM(2002) . These tools should be based on a set of historical data, and end themselves to measure present and future data, to provide for indications of historical trends. The contractor will be expected to provide the historical data and facilitate the first benchmarking exercise. The successful bidder will be chosen against an assessment of cost and benefits.
