Integrating economic, research and environmental policies

The University of Heidelberg and the Centre for European economic research are organising a workshop in Brussels on 26 and September on the integration of economic, research and environmental policies.

Experts from the research community and industry will take part along with representatives from the European Commission's Environment DG, Brian Griffin, Minister for the environment in Oklahoma State, USA and representatives from Dutch and German administrative departments.

The workshop will consist of three seminars under the following headings 'political measures for the integration of environment and innovation policies', 'the effects of emissions trading on innovation' and 'benchmarking and integration of policies in practice'.
