Woman withdraws case against principal

Elaine McGonigle, a former St Andrews University employee who accused principal Brian Lang of sexual harassment and bullying, this week settled her dispute with the university only minutes before the start of an employment tribunal hearing.

Ms McGonigle was claiming sex discrimination and unfair dismissal. Last year she resigned as events and sponsorship officer after being suspended for alleged gross misconduct.
