The appointee is expected to: teach relevant courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including supervising undergraduate and/or postgraduate final projects; generate research outputs with high impact and participate in competitive grant applications exercises; and assist the Department with administration and curriculum development. Requirements Applicants for the position should have: (i) a PhD degree in Modern Literature or a relevant area (ii) good track record of publications, grants, and awards (iii) some experience in teaching or developing courses in digital humanities, modern literature or world literatures An appointee at the level of Associate / Assistant Professor should, besides being an effective teacher, demonstrate great potential to produce quality research output in the very near future.
