We are seeking an outstanding Research Fellow to join an ambitious translational oncology programme focused on improving precision treatment approaches for patients with gastrointestinal cancers. This funded programme brings together laboratory scientists, clinicians, and molecular researchers to develop clinically relevant approaches for understanding therapeutic response and resistance in cancer. The post offers a rare opportunity to contribute to a highly translational initiative operating at the interface of discovery science and patient care. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping experimental strategy, generating clinically relevant biological insights, and supporting the progression of the programme towards future clinical application. This is not a conventional postdoctoral role centred on a predefined set of experiments. It is an opportunity to contribute to the development of an evolving translational research platform with clear real-world relevance. The Role The Research Fellow will contribute to the scientific and translational development of the programme, including: developing and optimising advanced experimental cancer models leading functional studies examining therapeutic response and resistance integrating biological and molecular data to support translational interpretation contributing to clinically relevant reporting and communication of findings supporting regulatory, governance, and translational preparation activities helping shape experimental direction in collaboration with clinical and scientific investigators The role requires a high degree of scientific independence, critical thinking, and translational judgement. What we are looking for We are seeking an individual with strong experimental expertise and an interest in clinically relevant cancer research. We seek a productive and creative scholar whose research, teaching, and practice engages in critical dialogue with core concepts, histories, theories, and methods in the field of landscape architecture. Qualifications: Applicants should hold a terminal degree in Landscape Architecture and preference will be given to those holding professional qualifications and/or a Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture, or to those who have experience in award-winning professional or creative practice. They should demonstrate an emerging record of research, teaching, and design through their scholarship and creative work as evidenced by peer review and successful funding applications. Responsibilities: The appointee is expected to pursue a productive and innovative research and design agenda in line with their area of expertise and in support of larger Division educational and scholarly aims. The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in IC Design and Computer Architecture. Candidates must hold a PhD in this field or a closely related field with a strong research background. Relevant international experience is an advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes. Teaching Responsibilities In the role of a lecturer, the successful candidate will teach graduate courses in MCS and undergraduate courses in the CSE bachelor program. The expected workload for the in-class lecture conduct is 08 academic hours per week, totaling 240 academic hours per year (1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes). Teaching should reflect current research methods and results, and comprises lectures on the following modules: Computer Architecture Hardware Description Languages & Verification VLSI Design Digital System Design Fundamental courses in related areas The named courses are subject to change upon realistic needs of the programs and joint agreement between the lecturer, relevant Academic Coordinators, and Dean/Vice Dean in charge of teaching.
