Free access to the new app

If you own an iPhone® / iPad™ / iPod Touch® and you are a subscriber to the THE print edition you can explore the world of higher education on the move with our new app – it’s like having THE in your pocket.

If you’re a current subscriber to THE simply visit

• Enter your surname and subscriber number

• Choose a username and password

• Select ‘Preferences’

• Note down your unique ‘shared access code’ under the ‘Apps’ heading

• Using your Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, search for 'Times Higher Education' in the app store and download the THE app

• Enter your ‘shared access code’ when prompted

You will now receive full access to the THE magazine.

If you don’t have an iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch you can still receive the digital edition…

Subscribers to the print edition also automatically qualify for free access to our brand new THE digital edition which can be conveniently and securely emailed to you every Thursday. You will also gain full access to the back issues digital archive at no extra charge.
