A competition, launchit2001.com, has identified universities as a lucrative source of web entrepreneurs and is offering £1 million for the next big e-idea to come out of academia. Venture capitalists Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and incubation business Brainspark will provide backing and guidance to help the winner.
