The World Council for Renewable Energy (WCRE) is organising the second world renewable energy forum entitled 'Renewing civilization by renewable energy' to take place in Bonn, Germany, from 29 to 31 May.
Topics will include:
- the World Renewable Energy Agenda;
- the opportunity for a full replacement of fossil and atomic energy by renewable energy;
- living in a human made environment: from fossil fuels to the solar city and village;
- preventing resource conflicts by replacement of fossil transport fuels;
- educational and finance capacity building;
- new challenges, new institutions: towards an International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
