A workshop on the future of scientific and technological research in Europe will take place in Brussels, Belgium on 9 and 10 December.
The aim of the event is to foster a policy debate between the Commission and inter-governmental research institutions on the major research objectives for the EU.
The workshop will include sessions on research policy and the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7); personnel policy and equal opportunities; and research work programmes (including the JRC, nuclear research, and space research).
