Wise move

Ingenta, the world's largest web resource for the search and delivery of research articles, has reached agreement in principle with Sage, global publisher of social science, media and communications and humanities journals.

The addition of Sage's portfolio of more than 200 journals will bring the titles available through ingenta to 2,800 academic and professional journals with more than a million articles online.

The agreement bolsters user access to quality, cross-disciplinary content with Sage backed by eight publisher signings over the past six months. Deals with Bowker-Saur, Henry Stewart and Bentham Press have increased the breadth and depth of content available.
