Science has gained some unlikely champions in an attempt to boost its popularity with teenagers.
Pop star Billie Piper, footballer Dennis Wise, comedian Richard Blackwood and Radio One DJs, the Dreem Team, are fronting a television campaign to encourage schoolchildren to study in the field.
Whether the campaign will inspire teenagers to study physics, rather than aspiring to follow Billie's example of leaving school aged 18 to launch her pop career, remains to be seen.
