Volunteers helped relocate Bristol University's botanic garden to a new site in Stoke Bishop this month. Some 4,500 species of exotic plant were transported from the Bracken Hill site, which has been sold. The university hopes that the garden will make a stronger contribution to education and research along with providing enjoyment to the public in its new home, which is close to student halls of residence.
