Security forces in Nigeria, Niger and Chad are searching for members of an Islamic militant group that has styled itself on the Taliban and is comprised largely of students from universities in the three countries. Some students, suspected of attacks on police stations in the north of Nigeria, are being questioned and universities are under security surveillance.
