Weird wordage

August 2, 2002

News of The THES joint venture with Boston-based Annals of Improbable Research to uncover the world's least-read academic journal. The search has been modified and the goal is now to compile a list of the most outstandingly obscure journals.

Current entries include the Flora Sheffielder, Small Carnivore Conservation and Geotechnical Fabrics Report. The Diary's favourite is Esperanto sub la Suda Cruco, the journal of the Australian Esperanto Association. Your suggestions - librarians are especially welcome to enter - must be less familiar than the above. Entries to: steve.farrar@thes.co.uk or marca@chem2.harvard.edu .
