Water great idea: Cajsa Flensburg's revolutionary take on the ladies' loo has won the Royal College of Art's annual design award. Inspired by her own misery as a woman using public lavatories, her version of the female urinal is designed to be 'hovered' over.

It even has supportive handlebars to take the strain off leg muscles. We may see a lot more of Ms Flensburg's lav - she is jetting off to America to talk to manufacturers about putting her design into production.
