Warwick spin-off wins enterprise award

A Warwick University spin-off has won the Enterprise Launch Pad award at this year's Cambridge Enterprise Conference.

Warwick Effect Polymers won £5,000 and entrance to a "deal day" event where companies can seek financial backing from a group of venture capitalists and other potential investors.

The spin-off patented a cheap and easy process for growing designer polymers. Potential applications include anti-obesity drugs, hairspray and inkjet printer ink.
