Wales' five major universities have announced a joint project to boost innovation. Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff, Glamorgan and Swansea universities, which teach 70 per cent of all students in Wales and are responsible for 95 per cent of the principality's research activity, have agreed to collaborate on research, business and international projects.
