Vowel problem

A young Italian-speaking Eurocrat, making introductions in English at the fair, became confused over the pronunciation of EAIE, the acronym for the Educational Association for International Education. Finally abandoning the attempt, she confessed: "We usually call it the Ay-ay-ay."
