V-cs' salaries

Sir Cyril Chantler, principal of UMDS, was paid Pounds 110,000 in 1994/95, exclusive of employee and employer pension contributions, not Pounds 139,000 as reported last week. Adrian Webb, vice chancellor of Glamorgan University, was paid Pounds 104,000, exclusive of employers pension contributions, not Pounds 113,488. The Pounds 95,000 paid to Stephen Holt, rector of Roehampton Institute, was inclusive of pension contributions.
