One in three junior doctors working 'illegal rota'
Thousands of newly qualified doctors were today starting work at NHS hospitals but a third will work "illegal" rotas of too many hours, the British Medical Association has claimed. The junior doctors committee said that despite progress in improving the hours and conditions of junior doctors, at least one in three will be working an "illegal rota" of more than 56 hours per week.

It will focus on tadpoles' nervous system, investigating how, when tadpoles metamorphose into frogs, neural circuits controlling the limbs take over from those controlling the tail muscles.

Hamas bombers who killed seven people at Jerusalem’s Hebrew University may face extradition to the United States if they are captured, according to reports. Five Americans were among the fatalities and an FBI team is in Israel working with security forces hunting the organisers of the attack.
