UNL consortium's teaching won't do

THE STANDARD of teacher training is unsatisfactory among a consortium of seven schools whose courses are validated by the University of North London, say inspectors. Students are not prepared adequately to teach and assess the National Curriculum, and the course is not up to scratch, according to an Ofsted report.
