International student numbers at the University of Nottingham have hit an all-time high. The total has passed the 8,000 mark for the first time in the institution's history, with students from more than 150 nations enrolled for the 2009-10 academic year. Another 8,000 students are studying at its branch campuses in Malaysia and China, which also give Nottingham's UK students the chance to study abroad.
