A range of academic posts are to be created at the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China (UNNC) as the campus moves into a new phase of expansion and development. The university is looking to recruit academics in the disciplines of business, international communications, international studies, English studies, environmental science, and chemical, civil and electrical engineering. UNNC opened in 2004 and its student numbers are set to rise to more than 5,000 by this September. Roger Woods, provost of UNNC, said the appointments would "consolidate our position as world leaders in transnational education".
