A medical student from the University of Leicester has graduated with a masters degree in medical humanities - midway through her undergraduate medical training. Under Leicester's programme, students can take the fourth academic year out from their undergraduate medical training to study humanities at masters level - with particular attention to the interface between arts and medicine.
