The architect behind the design of the new World Trade Center site in New York has been tasked with designing a landmark building in the UK to house an international institute working towards democracy and conflict resolution around the globe. The centre will also provide space for organisations ranging from policy institutes to law firms and non-governmental organisations to collaborate with academics.
