University of Edinburgh - Structure overhaul

The academic governance structure at the University of Edinburgh has been overhauled. It has set up new committees to replace the old academic policy, senatus undergraduate, postgraduate studies and senatus quality assurance and enhancement committees. The new committees, which will sit from next month, cover learning and teaching, researcher experience, curriculum and student progression, and quality assurance. Edinburgh said the new structure would "provide clear routes by which staff and students across the university can engage with, and provide input to, academic governance discussions and decisions".
