An exhibition of Polynesian art, first shown as part of a University of East Anglia research programme, is to be recreated in Paris. The project, run by Steven Hooper at UEA, aimed to investigate the meaning and history of Pacific art forms. The first exhibition of the collected works, held at UEA's Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, will be recreated for a new exhibition Polynesie: arts et divinites 1760-1860 at the Musee du Quai Branly.
