A renowned university creative-writing programme is joining forces with a literature development agency to launch a website to showcase new talent. The site, provisionally titled www.newwriting.net, will feature the work of students and staff from the University of East Anglia, and has been created in partnership with the Writers' Centre Norwich. The six-month project is being funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council through a scheme to support joint working between universities and non-academic partners. UEA's creative-writing course celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
