The influence of America's Christian Right will mean there will be little change in US foreign policy regardless of whether John McCain or Barack Obama is elected President. This is the view of Lee Marsden, lecturer in international relations at the University of East Anglia, whose new book, For God's Sake: The Christian Right and US Foreign Policy, concludes that the religious core values of middle America could have disastrous consequences for the US and the world in the coming century.
