University of Central Lancashire - App of knowledge

An iPhone application for freshers has been launched by the University of Central Lancashire. The service provides staff and students with the latest information from the students' union, entertainment listings and maps of the university campus and Preston city centre. The app, developed during the summer, offers access to the university email system and to a comprehensive library catalogue. Students can also use it to book study and meeting rooms.
