Lina Bjorno, a final-year performance and visual arts student at the University of Brighton, puts the finishing touches to her installation at the Burt Brill and Cardens Graduate Show 2009. This year's event marks the 150th anniversary of the founding of Brighton's original School of Art. During the show, held from 6 to 11 June, Brighton's faculty of arts and architecture was transformed into the biggest art gallery in the South East, showcasing work from a range of 25 courses, from fashion and three-dimensional design to fine art, sculpture and photography. The exhibition attracts about 15,000 visitors each year.
