University of Bolton - Disability perception study

A photographer and course leader at the University of Bolton is using a doctoral research project to challenge perceptions of disability. Terry Speake said his approach was to work closely with the men and women he photographs to understand the concept of "otherness" that society can attach to people with disabilities. The leader of Bolton's MA in digital media is working with disability charities in the Bolton area, as well as Bolton Disability Services, on the project.
