Schools inspectorate Ofsted is considering how to change the way it assesses teacher-training colleges after input from the University of Bedfordshire. The university was picked to test a new inspection process focusing on self-evaluation. Paul Davies, head of the School of Education, said: "All institutions should be going through a cycle of self-evaluation every year to see how they can improve provision."
