University in cancer centre coalition

A US university and two hospitals have pledged $60 million (£30 million) to set up a new cancer centre. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and University Hospital will set up the new centre. The university will also raise an extra $200 million for the facility. The three institutions said they were aiming to create a world class cancer centre for adults and children and hoped to attract leading medics and scientists.
