A workshop on the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) will take place on 19 May in Cambridge, UK.
The event will provide an overview of FP7. In addition to the European Commission's proposals, the European Technology Platforms will be discussed, with a particular focus on how they are influencing the technical scope of FP7.
The workshop is intended to help participants understand the intricacies of the new programme, and how to interpret signals coming from the Commission. It is aimed at research managers and EU research funding advisors who are already familiar with FP6, and need a head start in understanding FP7.
