UK workshops to focus on FP6 proposal preparation and financial issues

January 8, 2004

Brussels, 07 Jan 2004

Two workshops aimed at members of the research community who are interested in developing a proposal for the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will be held in Cambridge, UK, on 10 and 26 February.

The first workshop explains how to present a proposal to the Commission and its evaluators so that it addresses the evaluation criteria and meets the Commission's objectives. The workshops will cover both Integrated Projects (IPs) and Specific Targeted Research Projects (STREPs).

The second event will cover the new principles of financial management that have been introduced for FP6. This workshop will introduce participants to the financial principles of FP6 and explore a series of exercises on how they will work in practice, both at the project level and within each of the participating organisations.
