UK biotechnology holds lead but fails to promote

Britain's biotechnology industry is retaining its lead in Europe in terms of revenue and research and development expenditure.

But a report from the UK Office of Health Economics and the German Wissenschaftzentrum Berlin fur Sozialforschung expresses concern that the country is failing to maintain momentum and promote technology transfer.
