Wishful thinking on the part of Aberdeen University's students association? Its motion to tomorrow's National Union of Students' Scottish conference, on "urgent environmental issues", warns that South America's tropical rain forests are being destroyed at such a rate "that by the time you have read this motion, an area the size of Heriot-Watt University will have been destroyed".
