The ladies who do are becoming the ladies who dig. Warwick University cleaner and unsung heroine Trudy Wiles, more used to excavating rubbish bins, is taking a short course on how to spot and excavate the many archaeological sites on campus. As the Romans might have said, "done there, binned that!"
