The Learning and Skills Council should be "really tough" with the worst providers of training courses, the Adult Learning Inspectorate said this week. Launching Ali's annual report on training provided for employees, adult learning chief inspector David Sherlock said he had "grave concerns" about the 40 per cent of organisations inspected that showed poor leadership and management.
