Third MUSICNETWORK open workshop on music notation requirements

The EU MUSICNETWORK project will host its third open workshop on music notation requirements from 13 to 14 March in Munich, Germany.

The aim of the event is to work towards defining a standardised music notation/representation model and decoder integrated within the MPEG environment, currently the most active set of standard forms for multimedia consumers.

The workshop will be organised in three different sub groups:
- music notation/representation and its decoding;
- music protection and distribution;
- music description and its usage on archive query.
