The science of profit

An interesting extra event is scheduled to take place at next week's science festival in Leicester.

The British Association is advertising a talk called "The price of progress? Cashing in on the knowledge bank". The advertisement for the debate asks: "Is it ethical to make money from science?"

The event is sponsored by BTG, an organisation that seeks to commercially exploit British intellectual property, and tickets cost £5 each.
