The First Galileo Conference for an Enlarged Europe - 19-20 May, Warsaw

The European Commission organises the 1st Galileo Conference for an Enlarged Europe on 19, 20 May 2003 in Warsaw, Poland.

This Conference aims at preparing the ground for the smooth integration of candidate countries in the GALILEO and EGNOS programmes. It will address the state-of-play in the satellite navigation sector. Institutional, industrial and research aspects will be covered.

A parallel meeting between the Commission and candidate countries on the development of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) will be held on the occasion of this Conference.
