A new group will see a university collaborate with a network of specialists from the worlds of music, performing arts, film, media, photography, fashion and digital design. Thames Valley University's Industry Advisory Group aims to help the institution develop a "first-class business-appropriate curriculum". To celebrate the launch of the group, Thames Valley's London School of Hospitality and Tourism produced a five-course dinner under the guidance of John Williams, executive chef of the Ritz in London. Twenty creative-industry professionals attended, including Caroline Rush, joint chief executive of the British Fashion Council.
