The Finnish National Technology Agency, Tekes, is organising a seminar on the next EU framework programme for research, to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 31 May.
The seminar, called 'Tekes strategy focus in the European thematic landscape' will introduce participants to Tekes' new approach to future research.
The key areas of Tekes' new technology strategy 'renewing products and business models; environment and energy; health and well-being; services; security and safety and work and leisure' will be presented at the seminar with the aim of generating inspiration at EU level.
Topics will include:
- ICT and its utilisation;
- the role of industry in FP7;
- environment and energy;
- health and wellbeing;
- industrial research.
