Technology transfer best practices to be analysed

The third annual conference on 'best practices of science and technology' will be held in Prague, Czech Republic on 29 to 31 May.

The event will look at technology transfer issues, both in the European and the North American context, providing comparisons. The major issues in ensuring smooth technology transfer from universities to industry will be discussed. These include licensing, the role of universities, conflicts of interest and venture capital supply. Some of these will be illustrated by case studies.

The event is expected to draw 150 technology transfer professionals, mainly from Europe.
