Sir Bob Reid, former chairman of British Rail, is to chair the key negotiations on the planned merger of the Association for Colleges and the Colleges Employers Forum. Also chairing some of the meetings will be two college principals, Ken Ruddiman of The Sheffield College and Michael Rowarth of Newcastle College.
