Survey should redo the maths

The Guardian 's survey of the best place to study a subject will doubtless be useful to prospective students. Potential maths undergraduates, however, would be advised to choose carefully. Hull University ranks as the seventh best place to study maths despite the department's having become a centre that offers no new degrees two years ago.
