Super-search tool

Academics backed by the Joint Information Systems Committee are working on a super-search engine to make the internet more useful for scholars. Other Jisc-backed projects were singled out for praise by education secretary Charles Clarke when he spoke at the committee's annual conference in Birmingham this week.
